As a professional Tarot card reader, you may be generating clients from several sources – from advertising in the Newspapers, to making a website or even word-of-mouth.
If someone is meant to come to you, then they will come to you.
However, there are times, when we feel that we should not read for a client. And we feel that either the first time the client calls, or walks in. As practiced readers, we have also learnt the hard way to trust our intuition in such matters.
There might be several reasons why we feel like we don’t want to read for this person. Sometimes, it is just an inflection in the voice, or the energy around the client when he walks in – or you can’t just put your finger on it, but you don’t want to read for this person.
Now what?
Well, I learnt this the hard way.
The negative energies of one such client just refused to go away till I stood under a cold shower with all my clothes on. No matter how much of grounding I did, it just wouldn’t budge.
Another time, the client decided that it was extremely cool to come on to me while he was having a reading.
At another time, a client spilled some water onto the cards which I had laid out while doing his reading.
And each time, I had felt like I did not want to read for that client, but I refused to listen to my inner voice.
Ever since then, I have decided for myself and tell all my students as well: You have the power to say “NO” to a client if that is what your intuition tells you to do. Trust me, if not you, then the client can and will go somewhere else.
Perhaps, it is not meant for you to be reading this client’s cards.
The universe moves in ways that we cannot even imagine. But there is always a damn good reason for all the things it does.
